oil pressure sending unit location

If the sending unit near the dist, on an 82, is for computer AND pressure guage, what is the oil sender near the oil filter for????????

Thats a temp. sender for your temp. gauge. The CTS is on the front of the intake manifold, but that is internal to the ECM controls. So the other one is for the dashboard gauge.
You're talking about the one with the single green wire on it, right? It monitors oil temp.
