Oil pressure sending unit

I have replaced the fuel pump and relay and still have intermintent fuel pressure,0 lbs. just when I am in traffic or at the drag strip.Does anyone know how to check the sending unit(oil pressure) or could it be something else? Thank's alot.

Just a suggestion....

This is an '82 right?

Applying 12V to pin G of the ALDL connector will bypass the oil pressure switch.
