You guys have been soooo helpful and I don't want to "use you up".
So, I'll really try to make this my "last OPTI question. After replacing
certain items suggested by you wonderful people — fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator, the car STARTS RIGHT UP. :thumb
The engine is still a little "rough" in idle and low speeds. My last OPTI
question hopefully is: If the OPTI was DEFECTIVE, would it start RIGHT
UP or would it take a few seconds to engage? I'm about to check out
the TB for possible dirt, also the injectors. As for the injectors, I don't
know what be I'm looking for, but maybe I'll spot something. Yesterday, when replacing the Pressure Regulator, I noticed 2 injectors in the rear weren't seated as low as the others. I Could even see the "O"-rings on both injectors. I had intended on maybe hitting them with some Injector/Carb Cleaner and some "Air" in the can. THANKS AGAIN

It could start right up. Keep in mind its just a spark distributor. It could be

100% on all terminals except one, the one that is producing the miss.

Does the miss go all the way through the RPM range ? or does it stop after a certain RPM's ?
