Too much!

I am still laughing at your quote! It's f-ing great albeit dirty but great! I think you've summed up why when I first saw my 80 vette sitting there for sale that I decided I freaking wanted one!

cheers.

o-kay! My stock 17k mile '82 runs 15.90's, while my '93 V6 Dodge Dynasty 'sounds' as good. I know I'm 'stuck' w/ poor performance until I figure a way around the ECM. Meanwhile, I'd like to 'help' the HP and GREATLY improve the sound. I'm thinking 'coated' headers, or a 'straight-thru', 2.5" stainlees steel exhaust kit, offered by 'MID-AMERICA' (#603-866), or BOTH, but I don't want the 'CHECK ENGINE' light coming on while going for a DQ. I know the headers will help HP, as will the exhaust pipes, and eliminating the cat (no prob here if kept under 5k a year) will help, too. The OEM mufflers are in excellent shape, but I probly should replace w/ new 2.5" exhaust system. I don't want the 'twin-tip, Ferrari-look' out the back; I want it looking 'all GM'. Anybody have suggestions on header make, the M-A-D exhaust kit, or mufflers {or anything I'm over-looking}? (P.S.; the M-A-D kits ask 'Please specify oxygen sensor location'. Any '82 owners know if I can dis-regard this sensor w/o 'CHECK ENGINE' light blazing?)GREATLY
