I have no idea but what I did notice was that every race car is a Ford product in that shot.

I noticed same, and that it appears to be a high-banked, tri-oval (arched front with a straight pit-road)

what appears to be a drainage ditch & telephone pole in infield grass is, by today's standards, crazy
 
I don't see how it could be anywhere but Daytona or Charlotte. Not many big tracks then.

I was thinking Daytona myself, as it doesn't look-like a quad-oval, and I don't think Charlotte has that-much banking on the front-stretch
