OOPS... No glue

Got my carpet "relaxing" in the floor of my 61. Just realized I never ordered any glue as I was debating the best type to use. Any recommendations and can I get it locally. If I have to order it it will be on 6 week backorder with my luck

Check your local hardware store for spray adhesives.
Castle makes a spray adhesive that is a lot cheaper than the 3M brand, and works just as good. It comes in a red can, but I can't remember the name. Good Stuff, or Great Stuff or something like that.

I used 3M spray adhesive on mine, & it worked great.

I used the 3M product on mine also - no complaints yet.

Last week I bought some spray adhesive for sticking down carpet in a boat.
Castle spray was ~$8.00 / can
3M was ~ $13.00 / can.
I went for the lower price.

Thanks for all the quick replies everyone. Did you spray the floor, the carpet back or both?

Both. It's a pressure sensitive adhesive that you let dry for about 5 min. on both surfaces before placing. Once it's in place, it's stuck.
