Opinion: Price for used vette parts

Have come across a wrecked vette(95) being parted out.
Whats a fair price to offer for the thirds brake light lens?

I know the whole third tail like is over 100$ new.

Give Jason at www.vette2vette.com a call and ask him how much he wants for one. That should give you a good idea to make an offer for that 95 lens. If the local offer isn't good enough, pick it up from Jason; he's more than fair.

A good rule of thumb on used parts is to offer half of what a new one is.

Had considered the half off offer.
But I can't find a price on just the lens..
Only the entire third tail light.
So can't figure out what its worth!

I paid 20 bucks for the third brake light housing, lens, the 4 bulbs inside, and the part hat holds the rear hatch glass (Prepping a piece for the lexan hatch).
