what do you guys think of my dash? i did all the work myself, i know its not perfectally smooth but like i said im no pro lol..... did all the wiring and everything, just seeing what everyone thought.........

It is really neat.

What is the screen looking thing on the upper right for?

Tell us more about the thinking behind this, and what kind of mods you are looking at that forced you to create your own i/p?

ive had a 7" screen in there before when i ditched all my gauges... but since im putting in a built motor and its not close to stock anymore, i wanted to have some control by putting some in..... oil and water temp on the dash, fuel level and volt on the console....... the screen now is a 5.6" that is connected to my playstation2...... great for shows, and watching dvd's on those long trips....... the space above the stereo i am reserving for a small center channel speaker to complete the surround sound, just havent found one i approve of yet...... the bottom console holds a low fuel light ( rewired the stock low fuel light board and connected it to the autometer gauge) and a SES light for my new tuned port system........ below those 2 lights is a push button starter as i have ditched the key in lieu of an alarm that i have founds a mod for that will not start untill i am in the car..... in the "change tray" (that wouldnt hold a dime when i took off the line) i mounted 2 switches, one for white under car neons, (pic attached) and power switch for the screen and ps2 power inverter(yes a relay was installed) i smoothed out the gear indicator for a moe flush look as well as smoothed out the rest of it as well as i knew how.......... im pairing this dash with the 140mph speedo from redline ( http://www.redlineg.com ) that i found for 56$ because of this site =))))) and many more interior mods that i will definately post when im done with the whole car........

But then again, I'm an evil tinkerer!!!

:)

That will really look nice! Show us a photo of the finished installation. The ground effects look good too. Fred.
