I know a few of you C3 drivers out there have already either done this once or maybe twice and I would like your opinions please! I am now in the market for new seat covers to replace the old worn out factory cloth seat covers in my 82'. It is almost considered as a daily driver due to I drive it as much as I can, but I am kind of on a budget but the question at hand is to use the high grade Vinyl, Leather/Vinyl, or just 100% Leather. Any and all opinions are appreciated..

I don't know that 100% leather is available. Most leather seats have leather faces but vinyl sides.

If originality is important to you, then you know the answer. If comfort is more important, I like leather but that's preference rather than durability.

Best advice I can give is get the highest quality product you can find, regardless whether leather or vinyl. Better to pay premium and have the seats last well then to cheap out and end up redoing them in a couple of years.

Cheers!

I Agree:thumb

Thanks guy's I appreciate it, and I would love to keep it original but it is hard for me to think or picture a Vette with cloth int. I just hold them up to higher standards if you know what I mean! so I will go with the best I can afford and leave the vinyl alone..:thumb

FWIW: 77-82 new buyers had a choice of cloth or leather. Cloth in your 82 indicates the original owner wanted cloth.
