Opti Whistle

Anyone have experience with the Opti making a whistle sound. I am still trying to find out where mine is coming from. Just replaced Opti, Water Pump, and Intake mainfold gasket and now have annoying whistle. Frist thought it was a defective water pump, but I saw a post on the corevettemechanic.com which mentioned the Opti's can have a whistle sound? Anyone else had this experience or have anymore details. The aforementioned post did not go into detail to help me out of this annoying situation.

I thought you said in a previous post that you isolated the sound to the waterpump?

The shop said they assume it is by elminating everything else, but I have not had a chance to drop the car off again to get it fixed/diagnosed. I received another post from another site which said that the Opti's can whislte also, so I am asking for input for both. Id like to have some info to bring with me when I drop the vette off again.

New Opti and New waterpump installed to replace the already new Opti and Water pump and still, the whistle persists. The only thing they did not redo is the intake manifold again. Any ideas on what this annoying sound could be.
