This is a red 22,000 mile car. Multiple class winner at Corvette shows. Should I change to a new LS2 engine?

65TripleBlack,
Sounds like a great car. You will get varied responses, that’s for sure.

IMHO, with the car already having built credentials, I’d lean toward keeping it as is. Nice early C4s are becoming hard to find even though they are abundantly availably and their production numbers are high.

Enjoy your 85 what ever road you decide to take.

i personally love low end torque so i would stay with the l-98
but its a matter of personal opinion

With the low miles it has and as nice as it sounds I would leave it stock.

Justin

I would agree with Justin. Unless you want to build HP. If you are doing shows and that sort of thing than leave it alone. Decide what way you want to go.

Craig

I would leave it stock. Not too many stock Vettes out there 20 years & older.
Why alter it now??

I cannot speak to the (eventual) collectability of the '85.

Gee, you have two; why not a third, to play with as you desire?
