Original whitewall width in 64??

I was wondering what the width of the whitewalls on 64's were. I am getting ready to replace the tires on my 64 with a new set from Coker and was considering the 2.5 inch width whitewalls. Does anyone know if that was the width from the factory??

I have the original U.S. Royal Safety 800 6.70-15 spare that was shipped from St Louis with my 64. The whitewall width measures 13/16". I'm running Goodyear Integrity's on the car 205-70/15 with 3/4" whitewalls. 205-75/15's and 225-70/15's GY Integrity's all have the 3/4" whitewall. These are radials, of course.
