My mechanic just told me that my vibration prob on my 92 is coming from the tranny. When he shifted it out of overdrive it went away. On ly happens at 50 to 60 mph, and not all the time. Has anyone had a prob like this. Very afraid of tranny probs.

I fixed my similar problem by adjusting the tv cable.

I got lucky.

If you haven't looked at that piece, you could start there.

Have to look up how to adjust this, car still in shop, maybe my mechanic will do it. He won't touch tranny's though.

Well, the tranny shop said I need a new tranny, of course. They think it's an internal leak causing it to not lock up fully. The car is driveable and I can keep it from vibrating by accelerating through it. This spoils my plans for a paint job as the tranny will cost close to 2 grand. This sucks. I was really hoping to fix it up but can't spend another 7 or 8 grand. I guess I'll just drive it until the tranny finaly blows.
