Oxygen sensor location on 1989

Does anyone know where the O2 sensor is located on a 1989?

If you look underneath the car by the drivers side door you should see it plugged into the exhaust. You may be able to see it from opening the hood and looking in on the drivers side also. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I will give it a look. I thought it was on the driver's further up the exhaust. There is a plug type device just below the Y where it goes to one pipe to head under the car and I thought maybe that was it. Off to the hunt.

I think the 89's still have one O2, so that is where it should be, it is not hard to find.​

Could you tell me about your exhaust. I am interested in putting headers in my '89 also. Is your "Y" pipe stock?

Did you do the install yourself?

They are TPIS ceramic coated the Y pipe off the headers comes with the headers I originally had them installed but I have swapped engines since then from a 350 to a 383 so I guess you could say I have had them off and put them back on again
Mine are over 3 years old and still look like new (they are some of the better headers) I am very happy with them!

Your exhaust looks great. I am really interested in doing something this year with the exhaust. I will check out your video clips tonight. Don't have speakers here at work!!
