P or J code on 94LT1?

Ordering a new IAC but need to know if its a P code or J code. Im at work and dont know.

Thanks. I called the chevrolet garage and they gave me one part number and the Oriely's gave me another, the one from GM didnt cross reference to the one Orielys gave me priced at 57.00 but one that cost 99.00. They're checking on whats different and which one I should use. I may just call the chevy place back up and have them order it.

Engine code "P" is LT1 for 1994 model year.

Engine code "J" is LT5 for 1994 model year. Also known as ZR-1. King of the Hill.

Engine code "5" is LT4. This is model year 1996 only.

This is the eighth digit of the vehicle identification number. Commonly referred to as the VIN.

"LT4man" is correct.

VIN J was for the LT5 for MY90-95.
