P0100 MAF Circuit Malfunction

I get an occasional P0100 code MAF Circuit Malfunction. I checked all the connections and cleared the code, but I get the code again but not immediately - maybe several days apart or even weeks. Anyone familiar with this problem? My car is a 1996 Collector Edition Coupe, LT1 with automatic transmission. No modifications - new egr valve, # 2 sparkplug wire and catylatic converter on passenger side 1 month ago.

I have no clue as to what P0100 means, maybe Paul (c4c5specialist) will see this and enlighten us all.

I didn't see this addressed so I'll tell you though you may have already received an answer. The P100 on you vette means...insufficiet activity of the mas air flow sensor.....Here is the diagnostic tree for it.
