P0172, P0175 codes

I have these codes again. I got them twice in the last 2 years on my 2000. They clear after 3 engine cycles and don't come back for a long time. Any concensus as to the cause?

HI there,
Something is having the fuel system see a rich condition, and it is trying to take away fuel, that is when these codes set.
I would suggest, starting with checking to see if your MAF sensor is contaminated, or not connected correctly.
Also, I would add a bottle of 12345515 fuel systems cleaner from your local GM dealer. You could also use Chevron Techron.
