I work at PolyOne, at the corner of Walker and Moore, essentially next to the Ford Plant.waterboy1976 said:Where do you work around there.????
Well be bringing the baby up there probably starting next couple of weeks or so....
Well definitely hook up there....
I probably won't be up much before CrusieFest, as my weekends are pretty well booked up with stuff. But after CruiseFest, I should have plenty of opportunities to make it up there.
Yeah, no kidding! I'd better get started or I'm going to run out of time! My biggest problem is that I usually use top-shelf liquors for my concoctions! That gets expensive when I need to start making batches in quantity! But cheap liquors just taste like cheap liquors! Yech!!! But then again, I don't drink beer or wine, so maybe I'm just a liquor snob...vette-dude said:Says Andre as he turns slowly and walks back to his laboratory where he is secretley concocting his next perverse drink recipe for the BLENDER WARS at cruise fest!!!! Ya,Ha,HA!!:W
What was that, Joe Firment's? I always thought that was kinda funny: a GM dealership directly across from the Ford plant entrance... otherwise, that location was pretty much off the beaten path. I didn't understand that either.waterboy1976 said:Polyone.....no kidding.......I worked at the Chevrolet dealership over on Miller Rd until we closed it last March and now Im at our store in Lorain.....
What the hell? I didn't see this thread as being titled "Paging CJ5Nutz!" Whatchew doin' reading into post addressed to ME?!?!? :Lcj5nutz said:Hey Andre , do you ever see my old buddy at Avon with the Red 76?(Bill) If you do tell him I said Hi... I do miss a few people from there !

I don't know that I've been up to Avon since I was up there with you...hahaha. And for some reason, I seem to recall you buddy not having the vette there. Didn't he have something else at that time? Either way... I wouldn't remember him if I saw him standing next to his car. But I'll tell ya what. Next time I'm up there and I see any guy standing near a red '76, I'll ask him if he knows some dude named Scott with a white vette and a big honkin' CJ5 jeep. :L "Yeah, well, he says he misses you. He said you sure did have a purty mouth..."

Ahh...so that's what's going in at the corner there... OK...waterboy1976 said:It was Firments.....We bought out Lupe Chev in 1996 (firment). Lupe built that store there when the plant was Fruehoff Trailers....GM bought that plant...Lupe built his store there (was at the corner..Tomko now) and then a year later GM sold the plant to Ford...We bought it in 96 cause we are closing our Lorain store and closed that one last March to build our new one at Moore and Chester Southeast corner 1/4 mile down from moore (theres a big pile of fill there now.
