You ever make it out to Avon on a Saturday night for the car show at the Commons there?

yeah, I try to get up there on Saturday's. Usually it's with the vette. Every once in a while with the motorcycle. i was leaving work this past saturday around 7pm. I allllmost stopped in to see if there were any people there yet/still, but I didn't feel like turning around. I thought of it because there was a '58 or '59 vette that had just turned off of Detroit there.

I work at PolyOne, at the corner of Walker and Moore, essentially next to the Ford Plant.

I probably won't be up much before CrusieFest, as my weekends are pretty well booked up with stuff. But after CruiseFest, I should have plenty of opportunities to make it up there.

Polyone.....no kidding.......I worked at the Chevrolet dealership over on Miller Rd until we closed it last March and now Im at our store in Lorain.....

Yeah, no kidding! I'd better get started or I'm going to run out of time! My biggest problem is that I usually use top-shelf liquors for my concoctions! That gets expensive when I need to start making batches in quantity! But cheap liquors just taste like cheap liquors! Yech!!! But then again, I don't drink beer or wine, so maybe I'm just a liquor snob...

..anyways, my recipes at BlenderWars is usually bred from the fact that as we run out of things, I need to make do with what I have left... Necessity is the mother of invention!

What was that, Joe Firment's? I always thought that was kinda funny: a GM dealership directly across from the Ford plant entrance... otherwise, that location was pretty much off the beaten path. I didn't understand that either.

I don't know that I've been up to Avon since I was up there with you...hahaha. And for some reason, I seem to recall you buddy not having the vette there. Didn't he have something else at that time? Either way... I wouldn't remember him if I saw him standing next to his car. But I'll tell ya what. Next time I'm up there and I see any guy standing near a red '76, I'll ask him if he knows some dude named Scott with a white vette and a big honkin' CJ5 jeep. :L "Yeah, well, he says he misses you. It was Firments.....We bought out Lupe Chev in 1996 (firment). Lupe built that store there when the plant was Fruehoff Trailers....GM bought that plant...Lupe built his store there (was at the corner..Tomko now) and then a year later GM sold the plant to Ford...We bought it in 96 cause we are closing our Lorain store and closed that one last March to build our new one at Moore and Chester Southeast corner 1/4 mile down from moore (theres a big pile of fill there now.
