i just moved out to phoenix, AZ, and actually drove my vette out here from new york... beautiful drive, the best i've ever had
anyway, the time has finally come for my pride and joy to recieve a facelift; skin's cracked, starting to peel even... the nicks she took on the road haven't helped much either, so i need some advice on how to take care of her.
she's black right now, the original factory paint too. out here in the desert, i'm thinking yellow would be nicer, and not to mention cooler. only problem is, i've never worked with fiberglass b4... to make things worse, i don't even have a gun or compressor here i think the best route is to have it done professionally, so does anyone have recommendations in the phoenix area? also, i'm trying to conserve some cash on this, so i was thinking of sanding it down myself; any fiberglass specific concerns i should take into account?
