Paint Buffer/Polisher

Does anyone have any suggestions as to a professional brand of buffer/polishers that I could use to finish out my paint job (after the last wet sand on the clear). Also suggested compounds would help too.

We use Snap on buffers. 3-m Perfect it 3 with a foam pad and finish it up with 3-m finess. If you have alot of sand scratches (deep) you might want to start with a heavy duty compound with a wooly pad.

If you get a rotary I suggest you go to the junk yard and get an hood to practice on. A rotary, when used improperly, can cause major damage. You might want to consider a Porter Cable Dual Action - won't/can't burn.
