Paint code

Where would I find the paint code for my Black 96 vette? I need some touch up paint badly.

Should be on the underside of the console door and start with a wa then a four digit #.

I didn't see any numbers that started with WA. Only one four digit number and it was 8555. The rest were three digit codes. Any other location to check?

Also near the 4 digit # it might have a "BC" or a "BC CC"does that look right?

I think I've found it. I did a search on the net with the 8555 + Corvette number and it came back with links for the Grand Sport in Black with paint code of 41 and WA8555. This must be it. On my car it just has the number below all of the RPO codes.

My '90's RPO list on the console has it listed ... WA 9567 ... Artic white. Also the VIN is on the list.

To be honest I thought the same, but as I lost a car in a fire too I know it hurts.

I think thats a reason why people love stand-up comedy.

My 96 color book showes WA 8555 to be Black BC-CC junk!!

Dont know if that was an option. What else can you do but laugh. It will all work out, they say everything happens for a reason. I saw a '04 Z16 for sale in ... get this ... Hurricane, WV. Made me think it was meant to be.

I think that was actually a color code .... a guy I talked to occasionally had an '88 or '89 that color.
