Paint Job

How much would a paint job be for a '64 roadster. Any experiences would be appreciated

I am not an expert, but I am told that a full paint job price range can vary from $2,000 for "a spray over", to as much as $15,000+ for "the works".

However, my source, who is an expert at painting Corvettes, told me that he typically charges around $7,000-8,000 for a body off, sanded down to the bare fiberglass, then a high quality paint job. Of course, it can go much, much $$$$$$ higher if there are problems; e.g. extra body work, excessive prep, etc, etc. Budget accordingly.

With the high costs of paint and materials these days it will run close to $1500.- $2000. for materials if you can do the work yourself. Tom's figures above would be my guess also.
