Painting C6 Z51 calipers

I really like red brake calipers and wish the C6 had them. I am considering painting the calipers red. Has anyone out there done this? Is it something you can do yourself? Is it hard to do. Do you have to remove the calipers? Do they turn out nicely when finished? Any tips or advice would be appreciated. Smitty

It's quite easy and i just painted over the lettering then used a dremel tool to take the paint off when dried.

Jack'er up and paint'em
make sure you "prep" the paint surface first.

I used the Mid America Motorworks kit that comes with the cleaning solvent, paint and even a brush.

Still waiting for the weather to warm up enough here in order to paint these brakes. Do you by chance have any pictures of your car with the painted calipers. Check this web site under "calipers". It is kind of a DIY presentation. As I recall, he used a unique way of keeping the "Corvette" lettering.
