Hi, LT-1 owners:

Are parts/ interior pieces that are specific to the LT-1 available for purchace like for other old corvettes?

Dave S.

Dave; Sure they are. But just like anything, rarity/matching #'s effects cost, as does NOS vs. Used vs. Repro, etc.

Example: Used standard 72 350 intake manifold seen them for sale anywhere from $30.00 to $100.00. Compare to 72 LT-1 aluminum intake with numbers & good shape: $125.00 to $225.00+ .

Parts

ONE good thing is most of the high dollar parts that are specific to the LT-1 ARE engine related, most everything else is typical Corvette, ie interior, wheels, trim, bumpers, etc.

Outside of the tach, fuel pump, and matching number specifics, engine and tranny and rear end, everything else is regular Corvette.

Check out ebay as a LOT of suppliers are now selling their stuff there, and you will probably get a cheaper price than going straight to the catalogs.

I've seen a few decent, well established suppliers posting on there...PLUS there is NOS stuff on there as well.
good luck

PS I HOPE to be selling Corvette parts on the Registry Site, starting 1/2003,
128 bit secure site and credit card orders just for the 70-72 Corvettes
(with a used parts section for the LT-1's)
