This happen to anyone else. When i hit the breaks anything harder than a soft slow stop, the seat (back rest) flops forwards a few inches. Not the entire seat, but the back rest. When i hit the gas it falls back. Is this normal or is there a way to fix this. There seems to be a lot of play in the seat, several inches either way.

I used to have the passenger seat tilted all the way back to prevent this. But many people get in, and tilt the seat forward.

Any ideas?

My passenger seat has some play in it ... a couple of inches at most. Check the little seat release on the bacck of the passenger seat, should be near the headrest on the back of the seat. Maybe it is not latching or stuck in the release position. If its not that then it may be the release mechanism itself. I think you would have to remove the seat back foam to get to it.

Hope this helps.
