Passenger window regulator

Hey all, I have an early model 86 that needs a passenger window regulator, the plastic ribbon tooth guide snapped at the window attach point. I read in ECKLERS that for early models I can buy just the ribbon. Also where can I find instruction on removal and replace or reinstall this window regulator? As I've noticed ther is no room to work in these door paqnels....Thanks,

This site tells you how to replace the whole unit...but its insight to replacing the ribbon once you have it removed. Make sure your 86 uses this ribbon...I think later 86s changed to the newer style which you can replace your old one with.
