Does anyone know when the Passive Keyless Entry (Key Fob) became standard equipement? I just purchased a 1994 C4 and it didn't come with a Key Fob - I'm wondering if it's just a matter of contacting the dealership for a new Key Fob (assuming the wiring already exists on the car) or if it wasn't even available on the 94's.

Believe it became standard in 1993. I would check ebay & do a search before contacting a dealer. Dealers are very high.

It was available on the 94. My first Corvette was a 1994 Torch Red convertible and it had the PKE option. It's not listed as an available option so I'd think it was standard. Maybe?

Standard in 93, do NOT go through the dealer. Get one on ebay, they usually come with instructions.
Just remember that most that do not have a FOB usually have issues, normally it is the receiver gone bad.
