Perfromance Brakes

Has anyone used aftermarket perfromance brakes such the the sport rotor kit called out in Vette brakes catalog?

I have a 1968 vette and the brakes have a soft feel to them. I also would like to know how much I can turn my stock rotors down before I have a problem.

The minimum refinished thickness is 1.230 inches. This minimum number should also be cast into the back side of the inner portion of the rotor. The danger in going beyond this distance is distortion due to heat and cracking/breaking of the rotor. You should be able to machine them to the minimum with no problems at all.
