The 1st-generation Camaro (specifically, the '69) was the design inspiration at GM Styling for the new car, so that was Chevrolet's focus for selecting the cars to be shown with it...

I find this opportunity very unique and historic. When was the last time GM launched a re-incarnation of a popular single-year model? You must be very proud.

They look like the mechanical version of the Indianapolis Colt's wide receivers and the new Camaro as the laser-arm Peyton!! The Awesome quintuplets!!
