I know this is a little off topic but i just got photoshop 7.0 and i want to know how do u change just the whole color of the car because i have alot of cool ideas and i want to be able to tryem out, pleeze help! ;help ;help ;help ;help

Use the "Hue and Saturation" function on the tool bar to change the color.

ahhh thanx but will that just change the color of the car or will it change the color of everything else to

Only select the car using the lasso and make it its own layer. Hue and saturation will only change the selected layer.

P.S. If you know how to use the pen tool it will make cutting out the car much easier.

I've used it to change color on a variety of projects and it doesn't change the color of the tires, trim, etc.

pshop help

One of the ways I change color is by Image/Adjust/Replace color.

1-have your picture open
2-go to Image/Adjust/Replace color
3-w/ your cursor (which now is an eyedropper), select a color within the image that you'd like to replace
4-now move the 'fuzziness' slider, which controls how large or small of an area within the image that will be changed. This is also where you can change the color (hue) or the saturation and lightness.

There are multiple ways to do things in photoshop, but other than making a detailed path or selection, I've found this to be a good option.

hope this helps...

Did ya ever get the pic loaded up?

your first post in this thread.
You mentioned a pic you wanted to post, and didn't know how.
Was curious if anyone had shown you how.

Thats all,
Rain

oh, i thought thats what you ment, um no, I still dont know how, I know how do make an attachment but the pic I want to post is to big :eyerole

if you put the pic on your own server, or webspace you have, or one of the free web hosting sites, then you simply LINK to the pic once you have uploaded it to that space.

or, the other option is to upload it to the CAC, but it has to be under 80k if im not mistaken.

Great colors there!
