I just put the painted top back on today for the first time in ~3 years. It was an out of the ordinary 93* in the shade this weekend, so the EZ bake oven glass top had to come off. The car looks so funny to me now, I'm used to the glass top on there. Now if I could just get worn out old interior to look good. <sigh> Another expensive project for another far off day..... So anyways here she is with 186k miles and approaching her 19th birthday this October.

Hall of Fame! Exceptional condition after around the world 7 and a half times. First paint? New interior is a worthy addition to match the outside. I love spending YOUR money.

Congratulations. I wonder what the all time mileage record is for a C4? Or maybe the CAC record?

Looks great!! My baby only has 140K on her, hope she looks as good as yours when she grows up! :_rock

First paint?

I honestly don't have a good answer to that. I'm the 4th owner of the car. There are signs of some repainting in a few areas, but I do not know exactly how much of the car was done. To my untrained eye most of it looks original. The camera is good to her, there are a good # of rock chips on the hood and some small hairline cracks here and there where the SMC has flexed over time. Most of the stuff isn't noticeable from 10 feet away, I'm just anal. LOL

I love spending YOUR money.

You and every girl I've dated. Well, actually the most recent one was good at not doing that.

My Vette has 125K miles travelled.

Mine looks half as neat as yours, mine needs a paint job, and it is getting a new interior this summer.

love those black wheels on the yellow :_rock

She doesn't look a mile over 50,000 or a year over 10. Great looking car

Looks real good ... Congrats,,,, Hope mine looks as good when she hit that number.... :cool

Lookeen' good!

Wow. Looks fantastic for such an experienced woman. My glass top is stored in the garage. I prefer the look of the painted ones. I either want the top off and the wind in my hair or the top on, windows closed with A/C and no greenhouse effect!

Mine is at 107,000 and I hope she still looks as good as yours does. Congrats on your milestone. What are some of your basic tips for maintenance? Any suggestions. I notice the snap on tool van in the driveway? Is that the secret?

Looks good, Scorp. What have you done to achieve those kind of power numbers on the car?

I like reading about people who drive their cars instead of parking them in the garage.:L

My baby is less than 300 miles away from hitting 90000. Still runs like a champ. It has been very reliable since I had the Cross Fire all synced,a new fuel pump and a new TPS put in just after I purchased it almost 3 years ago. I am definitely pleased with my C4.

Just damn!! Sweet looking car Scorp!! Hopefully, it's still just as fast as it looks :cool

At the moment...

61% increase in HP over stock.
29% increase in Torque over stock.

....with more to come. Thanks. :)

The Snap-On truck helps get the jobs done. :upthumbs

Tips, geez I dunno.... just keep an eye on things. No car is perfect, and wear items WEAR so don't be surprised that you have to change them. :) I participate in drag racing and autocrossing, so I'm always making sure joints and bushings are in good shape. Knowing your car and its quirks is probably the best thing that you can do.

Get a good Helm manual and dive right in whenever you have a problem. I didn't know jack about cars 5 years ago, but blowing up a couple of trannies and engines in this thing have helped learn a lot. :W
