Let's see some shots of Z06s doing what they do best... Drags, DEs, anything you've got.

Here's mine at Mid-Ohio last Spring:

All you have to do is right click on the immage, hit "Properties" and cut and paste the Address (URL) in the "Insert Immage"

box above ^ .

BTW: Nice Z, what was your time?

Thanks! :D

Oops- forgot to answer the time question.

The track is at 2600 feet and it is usually in the 90's when I race.

The best I have done is 12.42 @ 113.67. That is stock except drag radials and a VaraRam intake. More typical runs are 12.5-12.6 @ 112MPH. I have run a 12.4X three times. That would translate to about 12.0 @ 118 at sea level, according to the conversion calculations that I have seen.

This is it? Come on guys, I KNOW more of you wring 'em out then that!!

Hi Z06 Tom -

That track SUCKS! I did an 11.90 @ 126mph there last summer. I couldn't hook up to save my life, and I was on drag radials!

BTW: Who won? I bet it was the Z, right? :Silly

Hi guys -

Yup - That track does suck - combine that with me not being able to drive my Z06...but I still took him.

This was taken the very first time I ever had the car on a drag strip - it was just broken in - Late May 2002 after buying the car in December 2001.

I thought "...great - ZR1 for my very first time down the strip...."

I had a terrible wheel spinning, wait for the green light to shine launch...and still beat the ZR1. WE both wanted to lose that race...

and the dismal timeslip...

I later was able to squeak out a 12.9 at Beech.

mqqn-

I added drag radials and a VaraRam. I run 12.5-12.6 fairly consistently, and have gone as fast as 12.42 at 113.6. All runs were at 2600' elevation. The drag radials will get you 0.3-0.5 seconds, and the VaraRam will at 3-4 MPH to the trap speed. You have low 12 second passes in that car with some very simple add-ons.

Thanks for the info Jim - and thanks for your confidence in my driving...:L

The car was 100% bone stock down to the air in the tires when this run took place.

I have since had the car tuned by Breathless Performance (went from 356 RWHP to 372 RWHP dyno verified...) and then after the tune I installed a complete Halltech TRAP system. I had it re-tuned after teh Halltech, but I did not get it on the dyno after the re-tune.

best regards -
