Can someone give me a link to the thread or instructions which has the pictures of the opti-spark mod for 92 vette. I saw this about 1 year ago. But can't find it now. I want to disassemble my currently working opti spark. Clean the unit out and make the mods. I am currrently about to replace the haromic balance so why not add this mod to save me money later.

Reggie:
Here's a link to an opti replacement: http://www.delteq.com/

I haven't bought it, but was anticipating work to be done. Good luck with your project.

Regards,

I believe one of the magazines ran an article showing what you are looking for. Only problem is: my mind went on vacation. :confused

Not sure when it will be returning. ;LOL Hopefully someone else out there will remember.

Go to "Symptoms of water pump failure." Put this into the search box and go down to the bottom of the page. You will see three (3) different sites that talk about all of the mods that you can do to the Optispark!

Reggie,
Take a look at the C4 Solutions link on Corvette Clinics web site.
http://www.corvetteclinicinc.com/

“The 1992-1994 LT-1 Opti-Spark distributor is very susceptible to water and heat damage; therefore the Corvette Clinic, Inc., has a specialized distributor for sale. We start with a new ACDelco distributor assembly and then install a ventilation system in the distributor and cap. The vacuum aspiration system requires only minor modification to install. $615.00

We can also modify your existing Opti-Spark distributor (in good condition) for $150.00
