JR: The tires are 15 x 10 in the rear, BFG TA, 15 x 8.5 fronts BFG TA.

Waterboy: She hasn't burnt her legs...yet.

Michael: She's my wife, so I guess I shouldn't let her go with the car ... maybe :L

Great photos of an awesome looking vette!!!! I really like it!:_rock

You did a nice job finishing out the Vette!

Are those heat shields on the sidepipes?

Do they work pretty good?

Where did you get them?

Bill

Bill:

THose are shields. They work ok, but still get hot enough to burn. I got them from Sharktank online store.

I was looking at those heat shields too. They look really sharp. I think you could further reduce the heat of the shields by using something I've found at dirt bike shops. It's an adhesive backed material (looks like a heavy aluminum tape) that you put on the inside of plastic side covers/number plates on dirt bikes to keep the exhaust from melting the covers.

If you were to put it on the inside of the sidepipe heat shields, it could possibly reduce the temps even further and get them out of the leg burn catagory. The stuff really works well on my dirt bikes.

Just an idea (that I'm going to try with my Hookers).

I had a sis-in-law with nice 'pins'; burned herself on her hubby's side-pipes, and never saw them legs agin'.......
