Greetings fellow bretheren of speed, i am looking for the original fuel pipe that goes between the pump and carb on a small block. i have a plumbing idea i want to try,but hate to ruin a brand new pipe.if anyone has a decent take-off i'd be interested in dealing.
also, i need a set of the longer (8" ) rear spring bolts. anybody got a couple of laying around?

Robin

if only you would have posted this a couple of weeks ago, i could have helped out.

SHUCKS..couple of weeks ago i didn't have the Edelbrock carb to play/test. i'm sure someone has a good pipe laying around..

I went to the auto parts store and bought a piece of brake line bent it to fit and it worked perfectly, looks original, you might try that!
Tom

Tom what did you do about the fitting at the fuel pump? sounds like a good plan.

thanks

I went to the brass cabinet a found a adapter that would work. It works fine and like I said it looks original. P.S. did you ever get the parts you ordered from Geo. I haven't heard from him at all! Glad I didn't send any money ! Good luck .
Tom

Tom, no, i haven't heard from George. my check hasn't been cashed,i guess that's a good thing. i really need to get that gauge. don't like worrying about the engine temp.
i try to be trusting,so i'll wait till next week to panic!!

Robin,
Are the 8" bolts you looking for stock? Ihave the bolts I removed from mine when I replaced the leaf spring with the fiberglass one. They are in the attic and I'm not sure how long they are. If they are the ones you need your'e more than welcome to them.

Cee

Cee, stock are approx. 6-6 1/2 inches. which is what i have. i need the 8" bolts to drop the rear end down . thanks for the offer.

Hey Robin,

I'm just starting on my 74. I got the maifold and carb from Bud, so I goes to start working on changing out ( I knew the numbers wern't matching on the car when I bought it) pulled the intake and saw the numbers in the heads..yikes, a 305 was put in this car....so its time to start over, with a numbers matching 350. Ive contacted george, so will see what he hsa. Also since I was at it, I literaaly pullled everthing out of the engine compartment. I also need a radiator frame bracket. Did you find one and were there any others out there used??

Terry

Terry, i haven't found one from this site. i know there are several used parts venders nationwide. i was trying to find someone here, since the deals seem to be better, and less chance of getting ripped-off.
