I just purchased a new remote and have done everything I can to get this system working. It never seemed to enter programming mode, because the light would just turn off and not blink. Well, after another "failed" attempt to program, I left the car and the doors locked. After this, I turned around to see what was up, and it wouldn't unlock the doors, no matter what I pushed on the remote or how long I pushed the buttons. Any thoughts?

Have you checked the interior of you car for another FOB. It's happened before.

Under the seats, in the door storage compartments & the one behind the pass/seat.

That particular system can drive ya nuts sometimes.

I'd do a search on the PKE. Tons of info there that might help.:confused

I purchased a new FOB a few months back and I have had the same problem. I find that if I flick the FOB with my finger I works but as for working on it's own, it's never constant. I'm pretty sure it's in the mercury switch in the FOB. I've had it apart several times but I have no Idea how to keep it working on it's own.:mad;shrug
