PKE Key Fob Cover

Has anyone purchased one of these? If so can you tell me how it attaches? Says it snaps on. Is there a front and rear cover or just a front. Is it hard plastic or silicone rubber? My problem is the plastic ring that holds the key ring broke off and the remote still works so I'd like a fix "on the cheap". My spare did the same thing so I could use two.

It snaps together. There is a particular method of opening the fob which is included.

It's plastic, 2 pieces. back/bottom has no key ring so you shud be ok.

I noted in the e-bay link that the generic pic is for a convertible PKE, not the coupe. The coupe fob has a button for the hatch on the bottom, so make sure you know what you are getting. For my 2002, I have a neoprene cover that stretches over the fob and protects it when I drop it (I seem to do this more as I age). Have three of them- two for the corvette fobs and one for a blazer fob. Wish they made one for the 08 corvette fob. You could e-mail the e-bay seller and ask your questions directly. I have done this in the past and have gotten quick responses. Good luck.
