I don't have an Owners Manual......Yet!
Vehicle is a used 94 Coupe.
It's my first Vette.....and I have trouble accessing with key when door is locked with inside switch (both doors).

Okay, I see a lot of talk about setting up the passless key entry.
I want to know how to disable the PKE?
I am still having trouble using my key to unlock vehicle and before I bend any linkage I want to verify the PKE isn't interferring with key operation.

tnx, Sam

To disable....Hold the door button down until you hear/see the locks cycle. This will take a few seconds, providing the system is working properly?
Turn the ignition "on" for bulb check. If the system is active it will display "passive keyless entry" in the lower left hand corner of the DIC, if not active it will be blank.

Same procedure enabling.

in saying "hold the button down" you mean on the key fob (which I don't have?

You'll need to get at least one FOB. Take it to the dealer and verify that it's for a '94. Once done, "program" it to your car. The dealer should be able to give you the steps. My car is in storage. I'll have it out probably Monday or Tuesday. If I do, and you haven't solved your problem by then, I will try and locate this thread and post the programming instructions for you.Good luck!
