PKE System not working

Well the goods news - It was not me or the FOB's.
Now for the bad news the problem is it is the in dash unit.

So If any of you have had this bit of fun please let me know what im in for as i will be ordering a new PKE unit soon.

PKE Dash unit

"At least your's shows some signs of life, which hopefully means that the receiver is still OK. My PKE was completely unresponsive and it ended up being a bad receiver. It's ~$200 and a PITA to replace - it's buried in the dash, behind the heater and radio controllers. The only way to get to it was by removing the dash pad"

A local Chevy dealer here in San Diego quoted me $487.97 for the in dash reciever - no install - just the part. Install was going to be about $500.00.
