Being a new member, I am excited to be a Novice Corvette C3 Owner.
The story of finding a stored Vette in a barn or elsewhere is in fact true for me. I am now the proud new owner of a 1981 C3.
The same owner had it for 32 years and put less than 1000 miles on it during that period of time. Stored indoors.
The car has 21,000 ACTUAL MILES ON IT. The car is 100% factory original; right down to the usable Goodyear Polysteel Radials. Beautiful black exterior with a red interior. I am sure the future will bring many wonderful hours keeping this Baby in the pristine condition it is now in.

Great story, but I'd say your evaluation of usable on decades old tires might be optimistic. Remember you can't see dry rot, etc. Post some pics if you can!

I would NOT recommend you drive on those tires...
save them for an NCRS judging meet and buy yourself some very nice wheels and tires!!!!!.
