I've finally got my tires picked out now the dilemma....white letters in or out!?!(these are going on a 72 red vette)
Which do you think looks better......white letters showing or not?

If your C3 has Rallye's on it then white letters out is the only way to go, it's a natural!

Whoa that was close, I saw the topic heading and thought that you were asking if white letters were in (as in cool) or out (as in not cool). Then I looked and saw that everyone was putting out! So I thought you guys didn't like white letters!! And here I am loving my white letters!! Luckily I scrolled up to the first post and realized my mistake. Oh and definitely OUT!!!!

I'm with the majority (rally=out, others=in) but with an exception ... if those new tires have big white letters that read KUMHO, SUMITOMO, YOKOHAMA etc ... I would turn those inside regardless. Don't get me wrong ... I just put a set of blackwall Yokohama Avid Touring on our town car ... they're great tires. I just wouldn't wave that flag on a C3 ... IMHO that'd be heresy. BTW, HOOSIER makes some interesting street tires also.

I'm buying Goodyear (or Kelly) and they will be going on the rallys.
I have a set of aluminum rims(solid with a ring of holes)but I think I'll stick with the rallys.
