hiya! Can someone please point me to a repair manual or literature for my stock 3:70 limited slip rear-end? I don't believe it is performing like it should when I go around corners. :confused

The 1953-1962 Corvette Servicing Guide also known as the ST-12 has section 4-18 that has service operations for the positraction.

it's sort of odd to say, but as I turn the corner, the wheels act like they're slipping.... to the point where I have to sort of back off of the acceleration.

That is a normal problem with GM positractions. The clutches need a little TLC occasionally. Try this positraction additive. It usually gets the posi working smoothly in short order.

POSI ADDITIVE

After you add the additive do some circles in each direction and some figure eights. It always helped get mine loosened up.
