Hey all--
I may also be selling the Steeroids Rack and Pinion still sitting unopened in my garage. I would need to get $900 or so for that. The reason I am thinking about selling is that I might be taking a different direction with the car. If I can get the price I need, I will just keep the parts, but I thought I would "test the waters". Thanks for looking!

TTT. The last buyer is having second thoughts, so the R&P is still for sale. Brand new, never been opened.

I am planning on going to a full C4 suspension conversion, and I would use the R&P from the C4 in that case. It's a lot more involved, but the end result will (hupefully) be the ultimate C3! I am also debating on whether or not to pull the LT1 and replace it with a fuel injected big block. My Performance Plus suspension already went to a fellow forum member, now the rack has to go. I have already talked to a shop that is developing a chomoly steel tube frame, so it should be pretty trick when all is said and done. I guess I am just going to more of an extreme. Sorry for the long winded response. Keep the shiny side up!

-try to be weight conscious...

Hello Bryan: -your thinking about the C4/Fnt.suspension may make some sence, --but you lost me when you start talking of adding a couple-hundred pounds of excessive weight to the C3's front-end via a Big-block; --that would be entirely antithetic to the aspiration you initially expressed toward enhancing the road-handling qualities... ~B.vH
-And hey Robb me'man, --here's a new Smiley to add to your great collection of Smiley-options as well...

The big block I was looking into would be aluminum. I will probably be keeping the LT1 though.

I'm thinking about the Steeroids C3 rack & pinion set-up. Have you sold yours??

Yep, the Steeroids is long gone. From what I understand, it's a very worth-while mod though. Best of luck!
