I was wondering about the potential of the TPI motors in terms of street use.

The TPI's are more than 11 years old now and I'm wondering when I invest into a 6 speed TPI, will it still be a formidable @$$ kicker on the street in 5-6 years?

5-6 years from now we'll be deep in C6 Z06 territory, probably towards (if not) 500hp

Then Vipers will have to respond, then Ford will kick out the GT40.

The most ive seen from an N/A TPI is 400-somthin HP at the crank, thats pushing the limit.

Thanks for responding Vader. That's exactly why I asked the question, good to hear some long term insight into that issue. I'm asking because I like the look of the L98's and they're quite cheap to buy and easy to maintain.

I'm more interested in torque than HP cause we have a lot of stop lights here.:D
