power Antenna help

The power antenna on my 1990 Coupe quit working. I found a replacement on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6763&item=1874342402&rd=1 It looks like a pain in the butt to change, any tips?

I really don't think that antenna will work...Corvette has antenna year spacific. That one doesn't look anywhere near the correct one. Here is a pic of your antenna

Is your antennae dead, or is the mast just broken?

The motor runs when you turn the radio on/off, but it my attempt to get it to go down I broke the mast.

Just go get a mast replacement from your local GM dealer. It should only be around 28 bucks.

It's a simple fix.

antenna replacement

It's not fun at all to install... There is a nut at the very top of the antenna pinching it against the body of the car. I think it is plastic. Then there are two 10mm bolts going into the side of the car. I think that's all there is. It's been a while...

A tip: remove your left turn signal. ('cornering light') It makes it much easier.
