Jones Electric Technologies makes a PCM for 94-96's that Corvette Central sells for $229 (just received the C/C catalog today). It plugs into the car's computer, and the stock wiring harness simply plugs right into the JET PCM.

It's advertised to mod the ignition curve and recalibrate air/fuel ratio for improved performance. Also supposedly reduces 1/4-mile times and produces firmer tranny shift points. Adds "up to 22hp."

Has anyone ever used this device, or otherwise have anything good (or bad) to say about it?

The photo accompanying the write-up in the Corvette Central catalog shows a dyno curve for a 94 LT1 automatic that indicates an improvement from 241 to 265 rwhp before/after.

Thanks and regards to all.

I think this only tricks the ECM into thinking the car is at WOT at lower RPM's. By hitting the gas, you effectively do the same thing as the Jet device. If anything, you may see a drop in fuel mileage at cruise RPM. 22HP is a serious gain in a stock motor, I really don't think a device like this will get you to that point.

Changing the tranny shift points can be done with other components that are not related to A/F ratios or engine timing.

waste of money

they arent telling you something with that dyno result
