The power door locks have not work for sometime. I knew it wasn't a big problem, so I put it on the back burner till today. The harness wires that plug into the push-on dummy plug are frayed and basically shot. I attributed the problem to this. I installed sodered, and used heat shrink on the 5 leads. installed new push-on plugs that go on the 5 post terminals for the power lock switch. Tried each switch to rule out bad switch, same thing. The condition of the switch seems excellent. They are definitely wired correctly. No operation. I don't see a deicated fuse for them, does anyone know where their relay is located? Any other thoughts greatly appreciated. Thanks Jon

Interesting day. I've almost had every problem people are inquiring about today. I found this out the hard way. If one power lock does not work neither will the other.

I recently replace my door skins. I did the driverside first. I plugged in the power lock switch and it didn't work. I spent hours trouble shooting it. The problem was simple the one will not work unless the other switch (passengerside) is connected. These switches are in series power goes through one and then the other. If one part or wire is bad neither power lock module works.
