Power locks went out

Hey guys,

the power lock switch on the drivers side of my car went bad yesterday, pulled the switch and some of the wires going intot he harness went bad. anyone know where i can get the plug with just pigtails? the junkyards all are either in the same condidtion as mine or its not elec. locks.

power window woes

call the suppliers like ecklers or corvette central and see what they have to tell you. then try painless wiring to see if they can help you out.

My guess is that GM reused the same pigtail harness on several vehicles thru the 80s.

Donor car..... hmmmmm....

I think the caprice had the same locks and those were still used as police cars up until 5 years ago. Hopefully, since most municpalities drove those things longer than anyone else did, you could find one in a salvage yard. Just cut of a good portion of what you need and solder it into your harness.

70-81 firebirds and camaros too.

Or try NAPA. They still sell the switch assembly. They may sell a repair harness to match!
