Only place I've seen them is from the major suppliers (i.e. Ecklers, MAM, etc) They do have core charges. But I can not vouch for the product itself as I have not had to change my seat bases out.

Seat will not move forward or reverse but you can hear the motor/gears running. This is with/without weight in the seat.

I had a problem with my seat but it was not what you describe. I was able to repair my seat. The problem I had was with the side frame that is next to the door. It was broke and I made a metal piece that had a U shape on the top to fit over the plastic side piece. Painted it black and epoxyied it to the side tub and no more wobbly seat back.

ddick9366: Thanks for the tip. I'm getting ready to take the seat out so I can check everything before ordering something.
whalepirot: Thanks for the link; I had already seen that one and it's only about 45 miles from me. It's not a rebuilt one but just a used one and they want a core exchange. So I have to decide $100 + core for a used one or $200 + core for a rebuilt one (if that turns out to be my problem).
