Need to get a power seat track for a 93 coupe. Anybody bought one lately that could make a vendor recommendation concerning reliability, price, core handling?

Only place I've seen them is from the major suppliers (i.e. Ecklers, MAM, etc) They do have core charges. But I can not vouch for the product itself as I have not had to change my seat bases out.

Can you describe what the problem is that you are having with your seat.

Seat will not move forward or reverse but you can hear the motor/gears running. This is with/without weight in the seat.

I had a problem with my seat but it was not what you describe. I was able to repair my seat. The problem I had was with the side frame that is next to the door. It was broke and I made a metal piece that had a U shape on the top to fit over the plastic side piece. Painted it black and epoxyied it to the side tub and no more wobbly seat back. :v

Thanks for the replies.

ddick9366: Thanks for the tip. I'm getting ready to take the seat out so I can check everything before ordering something.

whalepirot: Thanks for the link; I had already seen that one and it's only about 45 miles from me. It's not a rebuilt one but just a used one and they want a core exchange. So I have to decide $100 + core for a used one or $200 + core for a rebuilt one (if that turns out to be my problem).
