power window problem...

Just curious if anybody knows anything about the inner workings of the '84 power windows. My passenger side window works perfect but the driver side works but is much slower and seems to go up just slightly crooked. Almost acts like there is a bent track or something like that. Any suggestions as to what I should look for or what could be my problem? Thank you very much for taking the time to read this.

If the window is going up and down crooked, there are a couple or three adjusting nuts that hold the window in place on the plastic guide, they may be loose. These window motors are good for slowing down overtime. Sometimes you can take everything apart, clean it real good and lube it and it will help.

You will have to remove both the door trim panel and the inner door, search the C4 Technical forum for more information about taking apart the inner door.
